James H. Taylor, 75, a 33 year resident of Aston died April 18 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Mr. Taylor was born in Waynesburg, PA the son of the late James H. and Ruth nee Ornoff Taylor and graduated from Waynesburg High School. George E. Bruno, 89, died April 3 at his home in Aston. Mr. Bruno was born in Chester, the son of Francesco and Incornata (nee Liberatore) Bruno. He graduated from Chester High. He served as a mechanic in the Air Force during World War II. He kept the bombers flying while stationed in Calcutta and Bombay, India. He worked in the General Motors Boxwood Plant retiring in 1983. Mr. Bruno has been a resident of Aston for the past 18 years formerly residing in Crescent City, FL and Brookhaven. Mr. Bruno was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #242. more…
Elizabeth P. Adams, 83, of Swarthmore died April 1 at Littlle Flower Manor. Mrs. Adams was born in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late Martin and Helen nee Heller Ponist and was a graduate of Morse High School in Pittsburgh. She also attended classes at Carnegie Tech now Mellon University. more…
