Alfred E. Edwards, 85, a 52 year resident of Brookhaven died May 27 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. Mr. Edwards was born in Wilmington, DE the son of the late Charles and Josephine nee Pauley Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a graduate of Chester High School Class of 1941. He served in the United States Marines during WW II. He was employed as a machinist at E.I. DuPont Co. for 24 years and at Scott Paper Co. for 5 years retiring in 1977. Sophie (nee Rzasa) Wawraszko, 88, died May 16, 2007 at Riddle Hospital. Mrs. Wawraszko was born and raised in Chester and attened Chester schools. Charles H. Johnson, Esq., 91, of Middletown Twp. a patent attorney died May 9 at Lima Estates. Mr. Johnson was born in Nashville, TN the only child of Charles H. and Nanie Allie nee Blanton Johnson. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Engineering and University of Wisconsin with a law degree. In 1961 he was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
