Rya P. (nee Piersol) Leonard, 78. of Middletown Twp. died Friday June 22, 2007 at Riddle Village. Mrs. Leonard was born and raised in Phoenixville and attended Shippensburg State Teachers College graduating in 1941. She taught at Schuykill Twp. Elementary School and for most of her career at Parkside Elementary in Parkside. Mrs. Leonard retired in 1977. She was the widow of Fred D.
