John Jwanisik, 80, of Wilmington died December 27 at Heartland Hospice House Wilmington. Mr. Jwanisik was born in Chester the son of John and Mary nee Fedak Evaneszak and was raised in Chester and was a graduate of Chester High School in 1945. Salvatore M. “Sam” Laganelli, 86, of Springfield and formerly of Glen Mills and Chester died December 12 at Springfield Senior Commons. Mr. Laganelli was the son of the late Michael and Carmella Grassi Laganelli. He graduated from Chester High School, after graduation Mr. Langanelli enlisted in the Army and served in the 3rd Calvary, as an aide to then Col. George S. Patton. Jane J. Taylor, 69, of Aston died December 10 at Taylor Hospice Residence in Ridley Park. Mrs. Taylor was born in Tyrone, PA the daughter of the late Jack and Elizabeth nee Hearlt Heberling and was educated in Tyrone Schools. Mrs. Taylor had been an Aston resident for 33 years. She was employed by United Airlines as a ticket agent in Chicago and Philadelphia for 12 years.
