Edward J. Kosteski, 90, a 55 year resident of Milmont Park died July 10 at Taylor Hospital. Mr. Kosteski was born in Chester the son of the late Anthony and Mary nee Borsuk Kosteski and attended Chester schools. Mr. Kosteski was employed as a quality control inspector in the Steam Turbine Division of Westinghouse for 43 years retiring in 1980. John R. Smith, 69, of North Wilmington died July 9 at Taylor Hospital. Mr. Smith was born in Brooklyn, New York the son of the late John S. and Anne M. nee Ferguson Smith and was educated in New York. He had lived in Wilmington for 18 years. He was employed as a union carpenter with Local 845 in Philadelphia for over 20 years retiring in 2001 and also a member of Local 1536 Union carpenters in New York.
