Lawrence E. Bruggeman died on December 28, 2008 at home. Mr. Bruggeman was born in Chester the son of the late Lawrence E. & Margaret (nee Keeney) Bruggeman. Mr. Bruggeman has been a resident of Concord Twp. for the past 34 years. Mr. Bruggeman was a graduate of St. James High School class of 1952 and Pennsylvania Military College class of 1963. Marie A. Hogan-Sullivan of Wallingford died at home on December 7, 2008. Mrs. Hogan-Sullivan was born in Chester the daughter of the late Joseph & Marie (nee Thornton) Hogan. Mrs. Hogan-Sullivan has been a resident of Wallingford for the past 35 years having formerly lived in Chester. Marie was a graduate of the former Notre Dame High School. She recieved a Fullbright Scholorship to Chestnut Hill College where she recieved her Bachelors Degree. She went on to the University of Pennsylvania and recived a Masters Degree. Mrs. Hogan-Sullivan taught in the Chester-Upland School District for 35 years till retiring in 1991. more…

Patsy Pasquale Gallo, 88, a 70 year resident of Ridley Park died December 5 at Department of Medical Affairs Medical Center in Coatesville. Mr. Gallo was born in Marcus Hook the son of the late Pellegrino and Philomena nee Ferrara Gallo. He was a machinist with the Pennsylvania Railroad and Amtrak for 43 years. Mr. Gallo was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church and a veteran of World War II serving in the Coast Gurard. Mr. Gallo was married to the late Patricia E. nee Hampton Gallo who died in 1985. more…
