Kenneth D. Cook, Sr. age 89 of Wallingford, formerly of Ardmore died on April 18, 2009. Mr. Cook was born in Ardmore, PA the son of the late Daniel James and Florence (nee Krouse) Cook. He was a lifelong resident of Ardmore until the death of his wife of 65 years, Frances T. (nee Coady) Cook on February 12, 2008. Anne B. Johnson, 95, of Gradyville died April 19, 2009 at home. Mrs. Johnson was born in Chester the daughter of the late Xavier and Mary Ann nee Gensorek Wawraszko and attended St. Hedwig School. Mrs. Johnson had been a resident of Gradyville since 1961 moving from Trainer. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also loved cooking and collecting antiques.

Gremminger on April 14, 2009, husband of Dolores (nee Dernoga) Gremminger of Chester, father of Eric (Stacy), Gary (Nancy), Brian, Carl (Mary), Joan Gatti (Dan), 13 grandchildren, one great grandson, brother William Gremminger and uncle Joseph Gremminger. John was a retired Chester Upland School District educator. Services and interment were held privately by the family. Joseph C. Giltinan, “Biddy”, loving husband and loving father, 52 years of age, of Eddystone died on April 16, 2009 at home. Mr. Giltinan was born in Chester the son of Anne (nee Bingnear) and the late Charles J. Giltinan. A lifelong resident of Eddystone, he attended St. Rose of Lima Elementary School and was a graduate of the former St. James High School Class of 1974. For the past ten years he has been employed by Boeing as an aircraft painter. Prior to Boeing, he had worked at the Philadelphia Navy Yard as a painter. more…
William J. Lynch, Sr. , 86, of Glenolden died on April 9, 2009 in Riddle Memorial Hospital. Mr. Lynch was born in Philadelphia the son of the late Walter A. and Mary Julia (nee Doyle) Lynch. He attended St. Monica Elementary School, Southeast Catholic High School and Temple University. Mr. Lynch had been a resident of Glenolden since 1955. He was employed as a Designer/Draftsman by General Electric for 41 years until his retirement in 1986. Mr. Lynch served his country in the Navy during WW II. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Secane. more…
